O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2017
Vigorous, with good intensity and complexity, where red and black berries stand out. Aromas of coffee and dark chocolate. A touch of spices such as vanilla, thyme and black pepper add elegance to the whole. Very full-bodied wine, with a balanced acidity that adds elegance. Good tannins, fine and soft, well wrapped by the fruit. Persistent finish, big and gluttonous.
Rigorous selection of clusters. Total destemming, followed by pre-fermentative maceration. Fermentation with moderate temperature control and gentle manual overcoming. Long post-fermentative maceration. Stacked in oak barrels for 20 months.
