O Produtor, tasting note published in February 7th 2020
The deep red-purple colour is very concentrated on the nose, with aromas of very ripe red fruits, cocoa and spices integrated with wood notes. In the mouth it is elegant, with good acidity and velvety tannins, resulting in a very structured and harmonious wine.
The grapes are hand-picked into 20 kg boxes at the ideal point of ripeness, leading to higher aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel mills equipped with a temperature control system. Ageing for 18 months in new French oak barrels and 6 months in bottle.
