Very intense red color. Aroma With good intensity and complexity where the ripe berries stand out, black plum a touch of balsamic. Soft taste, good body, with sweet tannins, focused on the fruit, with long finish.
Manual harvest for small boxes. Total destemming, pre-cooking, fermentation with moderate temperature control in stainless steel vats with gentle daily reassembly. Long post-fermentative maceration. Partially matured in oak barrels for 12 months. Wine neither filtered nor stabilized by the cold in order to respect all its elements. Can create deposit.
Quinta dos Avigados
In this property you can find the “Casa da Quinta”, the warehouses for implements and tractors, the cellar and the warehouses for the ageing of table wines and Port Wine. Also benefiting from an excellent sun exposure to the grape varieties. Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca red wines are already planted by plots. The average age of the vineyards is 35 years. It is in this property that there is also a small vineyard for the production of white grapes in which Malvasia Fina, Verdelho and Viozinho varieties predominate.
