A structured wine, with freshness and concentrated colour and aromas, where ripe red fruit and some black fruit stand out, associated with some toasted notes. A wine with a persistent and harmonious finish. It has the natural acidity typical of the region which gives it great gastronomic versatility.
Fermentation in traditional treading presses followed by ageing in second year French and American oak barrels for 12 months. It was only naturally stabilised and a slight final filtration in order to maintain its full potential. It can gain deposit during bottle ageing. Limited to existing stock. Quinta da Fata
Quinta da Fata is located in the Dão wine region. The slight slope to the south gives it a sunny exposure that benefits the wine and makes it particularly pleasant. Besides the vineyard, the quinta has gardens, wide lawns and wooded areas. Among the many trees, an imposing centenary linden stands out. Both the lime and the tower with the old water tank are clearly visible and allow the farm to be easily identified from a distance.
