O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2018

Intense, dark color. Very ripe fruits in aromas such as cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and plums. Mature fruits also in the mouth, with firm but round tannins, balanced by good acidity. The finish is intense, balanced, complex and mysterious.

Insuspeito

The technology is minimalist, using granite mills with mechanical treading. After fermentation, with about a week of tanning, the wine went to stainless steel vats, where it sedimented the solids in suspension. After the malolactic, it was transferred to oak barrels, where it aged for about ten months.
Limited to existing stock. In case the wine you bought is out of stock, we will contact you to propose a different wine, or to return the amount paid. Promotions on wines cannot be combined with other discounts or coupons.

Vinilourenço

VINILOURENÇO has its headquarters in the Upper Douro, in the village of Poço do Canto, near the city of Meda. It was created with the mission of transforming and boosting the production of the vines that began to be planted in the 80’s by Horácio Lourenço, after his return from Angola. His passion for wine led him to develop his heritage. The concept of “Quinta” does not apply to the 45 existing Hectares due to their different locations, Poço do Canto, Vale da Teja and Pocinho. The disadvantage of the higher cost of production is balanced by the greater diversity allowing to take full advantage of all the properties with altitudes ranging from 180m to 700m. The soils are Schist in the lower areas and Schist/Granite in the higher areas. The differences in climate, location, altitude and soil, combined with the same grape varieties planted in different territories, allow the creation of distinct wines avoiding the common standardization. From 2006 Jorge Lourenço creates VINILOURE with the precious help of his father Horácio Lourenço.
