This is a wine from the best harvests in Beira Interior, where the altitude in hot years allows you to combine freshness and acidity with great concentration. Intense notes of spices and licorice from Tinta Roriz, in harmony with the freshness and elegance of Touriga Nacional. Great concentration and structure are felt in the mouth. The long internship gave it balance and elegance. Great aging potential.

100% manual vintage, for small perforated boxes. Choice table reception. Total destemming and crushing of immediate. Fermentation between 22 – 26 ºC for 7 days with
mild maceration.Aging in French (60%) and American (40%) oak barrelsor 15 months.

In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian Peninsula, on the border between the Douro Superior and Beira Alta regions, it was among family that its passion grew for the aromas and smells of this land that shapes our character.
After coming into contact with many cultures of living and making wine, in various parts of the globe, Rui Madeira returned to the great Douro valley convinced that they have the potential to make the best wines in the world.
 Out of respect for nature, due to the way we cultivate their vineyards and wines reflect his experiences, which smell and taste of land, of schist, damp granite, rock rose, wild flowers and fruit. 
It is in the winery that he makes wines with the character of our ‘terroir’, expressed through native grape varieties, which instil with a style of their own and an international profile.
