O Produtor, tasting note published in January 16th 2023

Intense ruby color, almost impenetrable. Complex on the nose, with evident notes of ripe red fruits, yet still crunchy and juicy, followed by spicy hints (pepper and cloves), with mineral suggestions and a pleasant persistent tobacco finish. A wine with a powerful body, but great elegance and balance.

Bellora

The history of Bellora begins in 1939 when Commendatore Giuseppe Bellora acquired the land that today forms the Tenuta di Naiano, a stunning property surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, situated at the foot of a charming hill with a magnificent view of Lake Garda. With a deep passion for rural life and the products of the land, it was Giuseppe who laid the foundation for wine production, always with an unwavering commitment to quality and connection to the land.

In the 1960s, Gianni Bellora, the founder’s son, continued his father’s work with a spirit of constant renewal. He perfected fermentation and winemaking techniques, invested in his own vineyards, and in innovative cellar technologies. His focus was always to make Tenuta di Naiano one of the leading names in the production of Bardolino Classico, the company’s flagship wine.

In the third generation, Dr. Tommaso Bellora, son of Gianni, gave the company a renewed drive. With a solid background in marketing and great creativity, Tommaso expanded Bellora Wine’s presence both domestically and internationally. Under his leadership, new high-quality wine brands were born, such as Amarone, Nepitello, Valpolicella Ripasso Gianni Bellora, Valpolicella Superiore, and the sparkling Brut ‘La Pelizzara’.

Today, Bellora Wine continues its path of excellence, combining tradition and innovation in the creation of wines that reflect a rich land and a genuine passion for viticulture.

“…it is enough to taste our wines to savor their entire history, the fruit of the land and the people…” – Commendatore Giuseppe Bellora
